About Captain Doug and Jewel of the Bay Charters
Captain Doug Deming
Born and raised in South Eastern Michigan, Captain Doug started fishing as soon as he could hold a fishing rod. Captain Doug earned his Coast Guard Captain's license while still fishing the Great Lakes in Michigan and Ontario, Canada. Now guiding on the Gulf of Mexico and the many beautiful bays that make up the Tampa Bay area for over 13 years, he likes nothing more than sharing the saltwater experience with his guests.
